Description
FireProtect 2 (Heat/Smoke) Jeweller is a wireless fire detector with a built-in siren. Intended for indoor installation. Detects smoke and temperature rise. The detector also can work without a hub.
There are two available modifications: one with sealed batteries (has SB in the name) that run for 10 years, and another with replaceable batteries (has RB in the name) that run for up to 7 years.
The detector operates as part of the Ajax system, communicating with the hub via the Jeweller secure radio protocol. The hub communication range is up to 1,700 meters without obstacles.

The time to detect communication loss depends on the settings for the number of undelivered data packages (specified in the Jeweller or Jeweller/Fibra settings). The polling interval is fixed at 300 seconds.

2-Years Warranty
Ajax’s 2-year manufacturer warranty covers defects in materials or errors in the manufacturing process that may occur within 24 months from the date of sale. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear (device body scrapes, scratches, etc.), wear of the elements caused by improper operation, and normal wear of the device components, mechanical and/or electrical damage (including latent), exposure to direct sunlight, high humidity, and vibration or damage caused by natural disasters.
The warranty does not cover damage to the product resulting from unauthorised repair, installation, and/or replacement of components or programs, including the installation of updates and extensions, performed by anyone other than an authorised representative of the Limited Liability Company “Ajax Systems Manufacturing”.
If a device is faulty, SpyMonkey will facilitate the warranty process with the manufacturer for you. We aim to do so in a manner that is as fast and efficient as possible.
