Its a motorized lens with 4x optical zoom (and 16x digital zoom), coupled with a high-quality F1.53 aperture lens and 12-megapixel ultra HD resolution enables the camera to capture exceptional detail at close and long ranges within its field of view. Featuring an IK10 vandal-proof and IP67 weather-proof construction, it's ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications. Its advanced array of features include image stabilization and image-enhancing technology such as WDR & 3D DNR, smart infrared, digital defog ability and smart detections that assist in effective perimeter surveillance, including face detection and tripwire ability. Other useful behavioral detections include people counting and heat map for statistical analysis. The camera also features a 50-meter night vision range, micro SD card support and H265+ video compression offering highly efficient bandwidth and storage capacity. Access your live camera footage from anywhere in the world using Dahua's DMSS (Digital Mobile Surveillance System) smartphone app for iOS and Android.

Overview
Dahua Ultra series cameras adopt advanced image sensor technology by Sony, which enables the camera to produce enhanced image quality and effects such as Ultra HD resolution, Starlight technology and Super Wide Dynamic Range. The series also supports Dahua advanced software algorithms such as people counting and heat map, bringing extra business analysis value for customers. IP67 and IK10 ratings ensure the camera can be used in the harshest environments.
Plug and Play Power Over Ethernet POE
No need for power sockets for each camera. Both power and video transmission are provided through one single ethernet cable from NVR to the camera, ensuring fast and easy installation.
Wide Dynamic Range
This camera is equipped with industry-leading wide dynamic range (WDR) technology, which produces vivid pictures even in the most intensely contrasted lighting conditions. It’s ideal for applications where lighting conditions can change quickly. True WDR (120dB) optimizes both the bright and dark areas of a scene at the same time to provide usable video.
Smart H.265+
Delivering high-quality video without straining the network, Smart H.265+ is the optimized implementation of H.265 video compression. The Smart H.265+ encoding technology includes a scene adaptive encoding strategy, dynamic GOP, dynamic ROI, flexible multi-frame reference structure and intelligent noise reduction, providing savings of up to 70% of bandwidth and storage when compared with standard H.265.
Intelligent Video System (IVS)
With built-in intelligent video analytics, this camera has the ability to detect and analyze moving objects for enhanced video surveillance. It has the ability to detect multiple object behaviors, including object removal, and also supports Tripwire analytics, allowing the camera to detect when a pre-determined line has been crossed, ideal for business surveillance. IVS also supports people counting and heat map, which is designed to help measure crowd density in a particular space by color codes, excellent for commercial applications.
Smart IR
Works to compensate for infrared over-exposure or whitening out, which can be produced when an object gets too close to the camera at night. The camera’s integrated infrared provides high-performance illumination in total darkness to a range of 50 meters.
Protection (IP67, IK10, wide voltage, wide temperature)
The camera can operate in temperature environments of -40 °C to +60 °C. An ingress protection rating of IP67 certifies the camera is suitable for extreme weather conditions and is sealed from water and dust. IK10 vandal-resistant ratings mean the camera can withstand the equivalence of 55Kg of force.
