Smart Dual Light
Automatically switches between IR and warm white light modes depending on real-time motion detection. This ensures optimal image clarity while reducing unnecessary light pollution.

Q&A
Q: Will this system record in colour at night?
Yes! The cameras use Dahua’s Smart Dual Light tech. At night, they normally stay in IR mode (black & white), but when a person is detected, they automatically turn on a soft warm light so you get clear, full-colour footage only when it matters.
Q: Can I watch the cameras on my phone?
Absolutely. You can view live footage, watch recordings, and get alerts through the free Dahua DMSS app on both iPhone and Android.
Q: Is everything I need included in this kit?
The cameras, NVR, and hard drive (if you selected a storage capacity) are all included. Ethernet cables, brackets, and any extra accessories aren’t—but we have them available separately if needed.
Q: Will it work in low-light areas?
Yes. The cameras are designed for poor lighting. They’ll stay in IR mode for discreet night vision or switch to visible warm light when motion is detected—whichever gives you the best image.
Q: Will it pick up animals or trees moving?
Not usually. The built-in AI (SMD 4.0) helps ignore false alarms caused by pets, wind, rain, or leaves. It focuses on detecting people and vehicles.
Q: Do I need internet for it to work?
No internet is required for recording and local viewing on the NVR. But if you want mobile alerts or remote viewing, the NVR needs to be connected to the internet.
Q: Is there audio?
Yes! Each camera has a built-in microphone so you can hear what’s happening too.
Q: How does recording work?
The included NVR stores your footage on a hard drive. Each camera can also record to its own microSD card (not included), so you get an extra layer of backup if needed.
Q: How long is the warranty?
Both the cameras and NVR come with a 3-year manufacturer warranty.
