ColourHunter Cameras are equipped with better Starlight sensors and a Smart LED lamp. These allow them to stay in colour in low-light situations when even other starlight cameras have switched to infrared (black and white) mode and to capture colour footage even in a zero ambient light scene using its built-in LED lamps to flood the area with light.

Active Deterrence is another function built into this camera in the form of audible warnings and lights which can be enabled to reduce or discourage unwanted intrusions.
